Why should I trim my cut flower stems?

Trimming flower stems when you get your flowers is essential for maintaining the freshness and health of your bouquet. When flowers are cut in our shops, they naturally seal ends until they are cut again and placed in water. The stem can become blocked by air bubbles or bacteria, which hinders water uptake. Trimming the stems, when you receive your flowers, at a 45-degree angle, creates a fresh cut for water absorption, allowing the water to be absorbed through the stem to hydrate your flowers.
