According to the legend that a man prayed for money and began to grow Pachira Aquatica. This tree then produced multiple trees and the man then became rich selling the trees. He credited the tree for his newfound wealth, giving the tree its name – Chinese Money Tree.
The Pachira Aquatica plant is also one of the most effective filters of harmful pollutants, as found in a famous NASA study of indoor plants on air quality.
This plant likes to be kept in a bright place but not directly by the window. Water once a week.
