Our Best Succulents

Why Succulents?

Succulents make great indoor plants because they have adapted to survive in dry conditions. Normally, low humidity isn’t a houseplant’s friend. However, Succulents, with their water-storing abilities, endure dry air perfectly. There are hundreds of unique varieties and just about anyone can keep them alive, new plant owners included. When you need houseplants that can thrive with little water, look no further and add succulents to your collection.

Benefits of growing succulents in your house

They brighten up your home
Succulents make popular houseplants because they are both low maintenance as well as beautiful. During the whole year the succulent provides a feeling of being surrounded by green nature in your home.

They can help to purify the air
One of the most well-known benefits of having houseplants, such as succulents, is their ability to purify air. Pollution levels on the planet are rising and if you live in a busy, dense city, you can encounter polluted air various times a day. Everyone, even if you are a healthy person, can experience health impacts from polluted air including respiratory irritation and breathing difficulties. Indoor plants remove carbon dioxide from the air and replace it with oxygen, improving our indoor air quality.

They improve the humidity of your home
Succulent plants release water and can enhance the humidity of your house. While increased humidity might not always sound that attractive, it has been proven to decrease the incidence of dry skin, colds, sore throats and dry coughs. Also, research reveals that high humidity reduces the chance of survival and transmission of the flu virus.

Increase productivity
Placing houseplants in your home does not only purify the air, it also reduces your chance to get sick and increases your productivity. Studies indicate this has something to do with indoor plants helping to release endorphins in your brain. They promote greater focus and energy.

They can increase pain tolerance
Research found that having indoor plants can reduce physical pain. Patients who had houseplants in their hospital rooms reported feeling less pain, fatigue, and anxiety complaints than the others who did not.
